May 26

Doobie doobie doo or doobie doobie dah is the question. My mind leans toward the dah. Mostly because of yesterday's freshly mown lawn that then experienced the use of a weed-eater on the weeds and the removal of all the wayward ivy around it's perimeter. Later the lawn felt the caressing breeze as the back harnessed blower removed all the possible growth stunting debris off it and down the hill.

For my body the blower is a blessing in a way. The weight of it on my back helps the poor thing regain the almost upright position that gets so severely abused as I am forced to bend over radically to remove the ivy as well as the lesser bend to push and pull the lawn mower. It really doesn't seem to matter just how you cut it, for at least two days after, tiny chunks as well at big hunks of body parts still perform their duets of protest as groans provide some ill sounding music with a few grunts drumming in every so often. I'm telling you it is a sad sad song but 'pain gone' does add something else to look forward to.

Most mother's take pretty good care of their own and it happened here this morning around 3 am, as mother nature slipped in and treated the freshly cut with a refreshing slathering of rain water. But for me this means that sooner instead of later, I'll need to go out and cut their little fricken heads off again. ....... .And with gasoline so high......

Doobie doobie just came down the stairs and she'll probably jam a few doo's in the place of my dreamed of dah. I still think it's possible for me to arrange for a few dah's amongst all the doo's. Do do do dah-de-a, hope you also a dah today.
