May 5

Every day we are allocated we should be equally thankful for, including those sparsely sprinkled days containing any amount of negative happenings. Any day that you can live through has got to be classified as a good day and should one contain a little of the 'rather nots' you still can't go in chopping around on the good. Another day lived is a good day whether you like it or not.

With all of life's trillion daily influencers pulling and pushing, trying to sway you this way or that, doesn't it make you feel powerful to realize that you have sole control? No matter what, it always comes down to you and you alone how you want to set your sails for the day. Set them properly and you'll scantly notice any troubled waters.

Shoot, when I started this I was only going to say how Monday's are about the greatest day of the week since retiring. Followed closely by Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The other three days are of course good, but they don't quite lift us up to the height of great. Just about the opposite of the working job holding days, huh?

"There's no reason people who work have to be resigned to situations and endure circumstances when we all possess the power to create better futures." -John Renesch
