Our trip yesterday was a fair outing..........oh, I told you that yesterday didn't I. Anyway the trip was a fairly enjoyable one.
Thinking now about the show we sat through, the words upper, grand and stand are the first that come to my mind. That was where our seats were located, upper, way the hell up there grandstand. Upper, I saw at least two people with a nose bleed, grand was the fact the seats were free and then stand was somewhat of a worrier because after sitting there for about three hours I didn't think I could.
Aw shoot, it wasn't all that bad and the ladies had the foresight to haul along some binoculars so seeing wasn't that bad either, overall. The music was pretty good and was without all the people singing along, at least within my un-enhanced hearing ability.
Amazingly I found that I could hear most of each joke if I was watching through the binoculars. That really surprized me! Of course it could have been the fact that the few I had the binoculars to watch the teller with, I had heard probably 2,000 times over the past 30 years so after only a word or two my memory may have filled it in, making me only think I was hearing it.
By the way, the granddaughter had a good learning adventure at the American Idol doings. She was allowed to completely sing her song then was complimented on her voice and abilities but then was told it wasn't what they were looking for. Good! The allows the next step tomorrow when she is taken to the College of the Ozarks where she will begin to work her way through a college education.
