Somewhere I've heard "Great day in the morning" and it sure is so here. I think everyday here is a great day in the morning but unfortunately as the day wanes so does a lot of the great.
I suppose that the mornings great has something to do with a good nights sleep and jumping up refreshed. After the creaky achy joints loosen up a little you're fired up and ready.
You jump right out there into the day with your mind popping you along as the near worn out body tags along making a huge effort just to keep up. As the day proceeds the constant willing on of the lagging body begins to diminish some of the minds 'great day' leaving rest the paramount thought on your whipped mind.
I don't know if the above has any merit or not but I can tell you that knowing I need to mow the lawn today has already sucked some of the great out of my morning. And besides, if I want to type a note I've got to come up with something.
