So we're busy. Not the way I like it but one must do what one must. Worked most of yesterday on the hot water heater. It went out and left us cold Tuesday morning resulting in one of my fastest showers of all time.
After several phone calls checking around it looks like Lowes will be seeing us this morning. I was quoted $315 plus $225 for delivery, installation and hauling the old one off. Of course I failed to mention the so far I have been unable to empty the great one that we've used for over 15 years. When we get back home I guess I'll do the old '25th try is a charm' effort.
Can you believe that Home Depot does not have an installer available? He did say they were looking for one but most guys would rather sit around and wait for their check from Obama.
The 'bury the power lines' guys are sure having their problems. They started on Memory Lane on February 9 just putting the conduit underground and they're still quite away from Appleblossom Drive. Of course getting here at 9:00 a.m., using up an hour or so to get rolling, an hour for lunch and then leaving between 2:00 and 2:30 doesn't help much.
Oh yeah, Have a happy today as well as all the days ahead. Who wants to wait around for a holiday then only wish it to be happy for you?
