Our deal with Charter ran it's course so we stopped by their office in Osage Beach to check on a replacement deal. Glenda did the dealing and GOT ONE! Not quite as good as the one we had but close and it has some HD channels included. The guy is to be here this morning to hook a different box up.
Charter called yesterday and again this morning to verify someone over 18 would be here when he arrives. Glenda gave me a talk with instructions on what to say and do then finished up with, "I know you're way older than 18 physically but because I worry about your underdeveloped mind is the reason for the talk." With that she got into the car heading for her Mahjong game in Rocky Mount leaving the coming installation guy for me to handle. I hope I can do it right!
Cold here with a nasty wind that accentuates that fact. A hard freeze is in the forecast for tonight. That and the fact the temperatures have been going down since 1997 kinda makes me almost doubt Al Gore's rantings about global warming.
Also doubt that Al really believes in global warming. That or he thinks not participating in earth day and turning everything he had on, thereby emitting tons and tons of carbon, might help warm things up.
