As far as I know we've been around no one but straight people but I'm fagged out anyway!

Wednesday we were heading for Home Depot to get the tile that Dory and picked out for the downstairs but on the way she said, "just for grins lets check Lowes out again." She found a tile that she liked and thought she might like it better than the Home Depot tile. She bought one tile and we carried it to home depot to compare. Yep, she liked Lowes tile best.

Even tho it was 11 cents higher that was what she bought. We needed sixty two of those 37 pound boxes along with eight 50 pound sacks of stuff and then four 25 pound bags of grout. 2,794 pounds of stuff we felt would be too much for the little pickup so we made two trips. We had a little bit of help loading but unloading was all on us. I figure we handled at least 4,000 pounds. Two tons and what do you get, a very sore back and we ain't done yet.

Yesterday I pulled up all the carpet and pad then carried it all out to the garage. Had just a trace of energy left which turned out to be enough to get the lawn mowed and carry the blower around blowing things off.

Today is for relaxing except the tack strips need to come up and that my friend, is not an easy task. May not get very much of those pulled up today because Dory has scheduled a trip to the stores in Eldon and may include three lines of bowling with a few other Rocky Mount elders.
