September 22

Whoopee, I began by walking one time around the mile horn after which I increased the trips to two then three then four then back to three and that seem to work best for me. Anyway I've kept track and am proud to type that I reached number 500 this morning. Five hundred miles of extracurricular walking. For the year so far, I've only had three days of no extracurricular walking.

Now in the last four days I've seen a Bob Cat near the trash cans on West Oak twelve times during my before daylight walks. I see it in the same place every time and unlike years past it doesn't bother me at all. There was a time when a Bob Cat skid steer loader sat where a Caterpillar should be bothered me some.

The landscape people parked it there for whatever reason I don't know. They have finished with our road as near as I can tell. I suppose time will tell me the facts.
