We were told that at 2:00 a.m. it was 66 degrees but at 4:30 a.m. it was down to 57 degrees and has been going down ever since. It's said before days end it will be down to 43.
Yesterday and last night the wind and clouds teamed up to lay down on us 2 inches of rain and about 3 inches of leaves. As the weather forces the trees to undress Glenda forces me to address the discards. Glenda has helped before but the cooler weather and wind doesn't allow her to be outside any longer than it takes to get into the car.
Oh well, it will just be another small filler between my two favorite times of my day, getting up in the mornings and going to bed at night. My deep fondness for these two periods does encourge me to rise a little earlier than many others but lots of days it also puts me to bed earlier.
