October 5

This morning was a really a nice day for an early morning walk. It was so good that I picked up a walking partner. I guess the crisp morning along with the huge full bright harvest moon was enough enticement to bring out my shadow to accompany me. Seemed to try helping me by walking behind me when going up the hill, like trying to push. Walked beside me along the main road then moved to the front as I walked down the hill. I think that was an attempt to help slow my rapid descent on that hell hill.

One little problem was on the climb, near the top of the hill, that great whooshing of air from my mouth would turn into a huge amount of fog that temporarily blinded me several times. I was able to combat that by turning my head. However, like when I turned my head to the right I had to roll my eyes way to the left and was still half blinded. My right eye rolled so far to the left it could not see anything but the right side of my goodly endowed nose.

I finally was able to avert the blow from hitting me full in the face by exhaling to one side or the other using my lips. A complicated maneuver walking while at the same time sucking air in full mouth then exhaling to one side or the other. I always thought I could walk and chew gum at the same time but got to doubting that till I got the hang of the walking, sucking and blowing.

I do realize my bit of blow here sucks but I didn't have to walk at the same time so it came pretty easy and I felt the urge to type something to send.
