12/10

Every morning we get we're thankful for it no matter what. And it doesn't take looking out the window or a long studious slab of thinking to come to that conclusion either. This morning we're looking at a warm sunny day with ultra cold day on the way. I think they are talking about it's arrival being sometime late tomorrow. They did take an accumulation of snow from the latest forecast changing it to a probable light dusting. We sure do hope the last word hangs true. This hope has a bit of extra strength to it because of a trip we have planned for Sunday and Monday. We'll find out if the joke was on us or not by Sunday morning. Trip or no trip, either way we win because one cannot live without hope. Even if that hope doesn't materialize it still serves a very useful purpose by carrying one happily along to the next of the thousands of hopes that come to each of us each day.

So for today a trip to Osage Beach is the talk. Glenda will pick up a few, 'we needs' while I go to have my hair cut. It's about time too! The last time it was cut was 3 months and 3 days ago.
