10-10-2014

After yesterday’s wetting and looking out the window this morning doesn’t leave much of a dilemma for todays choice, “talk the talk or walk the walk”.
So many years of experience collected under my belt or hanging over my belt, (It must be stored there because I sure there is too much accumulated for head storage). Anyway, I’ve learned how to speak thunder. Well, maybe not speak it but understand what it says at least
Yesterday with about a mile of my walk to go and near a half mile from home going the wrong way, thunder said, “hey stupid, don’t you know that mother sends bolts of lighting somewhere which causes me to speak a warning to you that a bolt could be coming your way plus telling you rain is in the plan.”
My fear of lightning and not wanting to become unsweetened I turned and headed for home. I didn’t quite make it.
You know how water dissolves sugar resulting in a sweet liquid and not knowing how to retain that I quickly ducked into the neighbors shed on the hill. Wet enough to think some of my sweetness had already been converted and not wanting to attract bees and ants to the house as they followed the drippings of the liquid, I accepted an offer from Glenda to come pick me up.
Thankfully I hadn’t lost all of my sweet because I was able to share the wonderful feelings with her that I felt of her thoughtful act in a nice way.

WORDY, WORDY---wordy, diffuse, long-winded, prolix, verbose. These adjectives mean given to using or marked by the use of an excessive number of words especially in an uninteresting spiel.
