September 18

Man'o it sure is foggy here this morning. Why it's so foggy it keeps the motion detector that we have at the garage sitting off the chimes we have in the house. Soupy I'm saying, if you'd throw a few veggies out the door we'd have instant vegetable soup.

On one of Glenda's dog walking jaunts she picked up a large marble sized green thing and brought it home. I told her I thought it was a persimmon and stuck my two front teeth into it. The shrinking and puckering reaction of my lips and gums pretty well confirmed that. For further confirmation I walked down and looked at the tree. It is along the road at the first house down the hill into our neighborhood. Funny we've never noticed it before in the fourteen years we've lived here.

We're retired so won't try to market it butt....er but.....I'm positive that a hemorrhoid sufferer could peel the skin off one of these little persimmons and after inserting it in the problem area like a suppository would quickly discover a huge relief.
