Ran out of real coffee this morning and had to use that lite 1/2 stuff. The lack of half the caffeine that I've been getting seems to have cut down my desire to do this quite a bit more than just the half that one might expect. If I had any thoughts at all they would be only half assed now.
Some relatives and friends stopped by yesterday afternoon to visit. We ended up playing the Bolo game. Maybe it's called Hoosier Golf, Hillbilly Golf, Snakes or Ladder golf I don't know. Anyway we probably played it enough times that we could say we played them all. The rules never changed anyway. I was on the winning team only one time. When you're hot you're hot and when you're not you're not! It was pretty warm out there and I was sweating like a motha but after all was said and done, I can't say that I ever got hot.
One of the relatives was my brother's eldest daughter, Amy, whom we hadn't seen for over twelve years. She spent the night but will head out for home sometime today. She is living in Overland Park, Kansas. It sure was good to see her!!!
Time is a companion that goes with us on a journey. It reminds us to cherish each moment, because it will never come again. What we leave behind is not as important as how we have lived.~Captain Jean-Luc Picard
