Dory brought to my attention some time back, a show at the Missouri State Fair that she thought would be a good one to see. She asked my opinion of which the answer to was the negative, I really don't want to go. Nothing more was said about it making me believe that I had finally been allowed to make a decision here in our life. NOPE! She, knowing my weakness for anything termed free, came up with four free tickets to the damn thing.
It is another one of those where you sit too far back to see any of it except on the huge TV screen and have no ability to hear the singer because of all the people around you loudly singing, most singing poorly, along with the star.
I'm trying to figure out if the fact my hearing enablers are still being repaired is a good thing or not. On one hand that could help eaze me through the show but it could also kill me if there should be an emergency where I wouldn't be able to hear the escape instructions. Oh well, there are to be expected pains with life and one only lives till they die.
In spite of and because of all the above we'll be leaving here later today, with a quick stop to pick up our neighbors, heading out for the 2008 Missouri State Fair.
