August 19

Life is the ultimate and living it should be minded as a grand time. To enhance this belief things like pretty bad food and money should be ignored or at least brushed past quickly. We had a grand time yesterday however, there was some effort required. The food was edible and good enough that I won't be too ashamed to flush the remnants into our septic tank and the money loss was negligible. Tho I don't plan to ever go back there we had a pretty nice day.

Looks like today will even be nicer as we'll stay at home where we won't be laying out any cash with the false hope of it growing and the food will be some of that, Glenda's delicious home cooking...

Right now I'm going over the hill to watch the electric company bury the electric cable. they're the same bunch that will be burying our lines soon.

The tragedy of modern man is not that he knows less and less about the meaning of his own life but that it bothers him less and less. -Vaclav Havel
