March 7

Well howdy, the tickets turned out to be the $45 ones so we may be sitting pretty for the show. Our plans are to pick daughter Debi and granddaughter Kaytlyn up and head'er out. Kind of a birthday treat for Debi who turns -$$- on that day.

The show is an act that replicates a subset of the Beatles music, and since I never ever could stand the Beatles hardly at all, I worry that Dory has foredoomed for me a less than exciting ugly event even tho I may be sitting pretty. I still don't think I'll leave my hearing amplifiers in the car. I can just turn them off if it gets too bad and heck, who knows, I may enjoy something in it.

I never cared for the beatles music and worse now, you know at all these shows where the old songs are performed half the crowd will chime in and sing along. Seems really dumb to me how people pay high dollars to an event then join in the singing to where no one can hear the high paid performer's performance. Go figure!

For an additional treat for the girls, we are considering parking at the North Hanley Metrolink Station and riding the Metro to the Grand Metrolink Station then walking the five blocks to the Fox Theater. Still only a thought because of the worry created hump we haft to climb of walking through an unknown type area where it is suggested during the evening to get a cab. May just settle on driving all the way in. I'm sure it will be a good outing either way.

If you city folks have any suggestions we're open!
