June 14, 2005

Whoa! Dory beat the nearly insurmountable odds at the gambling boat yesterday and came out with around $68 more than she went in with. Counting on her to put that away for the next trip and sharing a little of it, I'm thinking I may go with her the next time. I don't believe that I've ever failed to enjoy gambling when I've gambled using someone else's money.

They left in the rain but I'm told it wasn't that bad and didn't deter the trip's enjoyment. I can't visualize the enjoyment possibilities of three women and a man all in close proximity for over an hour. All I can see is at least three people talking at the same time and usually in reference to completely different topics. I do see lots of grinning tho because that's what a lot of folks do when they can't hear or don't understand what is being said. Dory say's it was a good trip and added, "fortunately very few people see things the way you do!" Is that a way to talk to the dumb-ass pulling the wagon?

Here, it wasn't all that hot even after the sun came out in full force. At one time it was only 77 degrees but while standing outside without moving nary a muscle, the humidity seemed to activate many of the 2.6 million Eccrine and Apocrine glands that are buried in the dermis layer of skin causing some wetness to appear in various areas of your clothing. Since it wasn't all that hot I'm wondering if the wetness might have been only the humidity collecting in those areas? I've about discounted that because that couldn't have been selective.

Thank goodness for the delete button, it allows you to be selective too, about reading this or not. The choice is yours.

Any change, any loss, does not make us victims. Others can shake you, surprise you, disappoint you, but they can't prevent you from acting, from taking the situation you're presented with and moving on. No matter where you are in life, no matter what your situation, you can always do something. You always have a choice and the choice can be power. -Blaine Lee
