January 10, 2008

Won't be any working in the garden today. Everything is muddy and more moisture is being dropped from above as I type. Nothing heavy right now but when the glass is full to the brim even a small addition will slop the area around it. Hey, I'm not complaining, it could be snow.

Looking out the window I see what one could call a dreary looking day if one wanted to. Should you choose to see the day as dreary would be one of the steps to a depressing state of mind. I don't want that at all, so to me the day isn't dreary, it is a time of rest for some, a time to reflect and to become more aware of your life. A time when the stalking by predators will be so much quieter that it will raise the awareness of all God's little creatures of their lives and surroundings also.

Too, If you choose to use the word dreary in conversations with others you could drag them backwards from of their own struggle toward happy on a rainy day. Attitudes are fragile things you know.

Nope, if I'd anything to type I would've typed it!
