Where oh where have the little thoughts gone? I've had them missing for several years now yet that problem hasn't stopped me from typing this big bluff and sending it nearly everyday. Maybe I never ever had any original thoughts. Maybe no one really has. I'm thinking about the only way one could have an original thought might be, if after birth they were kept in a sound proof room with a feeding tube stuck thru a hole. No TV, radio and no commutations with the outside what-so-ever. Now any thoughts might be original. Wait! There could be a problem with that! In knowing nothing, what could they think about. Humm.

Humm. Uncle Carl came up to me in the Fiesta just as I checked out of a nickel machine with $3. As we talked I stuck it back into a different machine. While talking with him and not paying much attention to the playing of the machine I hit several pays and then four jacks for 125 coins. I did take the time to look down at the dollar meter and it was really racking up. When it finally quit I was astounded at the $38 amount that was registered. After further checking I discover that I had accidentally been playing quarters instead of nickels on the multi-denomination machine. At that time I was pretty glad for the error. We were getting ready to leave so I kicked it back to nickels where I thought it was in the beginning. I was going to run it down to $35 then quit. Much to my horror, after just a few pulls it hit four aces for 400 coins! That $20 hit could have been $100 if I had still been in the mistake mode! I did finally check out with $53 anyway which still isn't too bad in my book.

What pains me is, it seems to be true that anytime I win at anything, there must have been a mistake made somewhere in the course of events!

Today is 'home' day. Yippee! Take the walk, read a book and watch the NASCAR race. All this while saving money. Of course there is that lingering thought that says we might be missing a huge win somewhere too.
