March 23, 2005

The word is "What you do in Vegas stays in Vegas". Let me tell you what! We've been done many, many times in Vegas and the surrounding areas. Done pretty badly a couple of times too. We sure as the hell don't plan on staying here past the 4th or 5th of April. So not everything done in Vegas stays here.

At least our plans at this time has set one of those days to head home. Hopefully we can scrape up enough money to pay our credit card bill when it comes due in April. The gasoline prices are so high that carrying enough cash around to pay for it would be really dumb without a security guard riding along. That is if we could find someone dumb enough to loan us the money in the first place. Broke, broke, broke!

Today our plans are to give that crooked Sam's Town a chance to pay some of their stealings back to us. If not in cash, at least we'll partake of their free buffet and play our free bingo coupons. I know it takes a lot of luck to be where we are in life and healthy at that. That may be consuming a pretty huge chunk of our luck and I wouldn't want to see that changed. But...you just never know when a tiny tad of that stuff might be left over. Maybe this will be the day. I'm thinking it may be as simple as adjusting our attitude!

Ability is what you're capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it. -Lou Holtz

"The golden opportunity you are seeking is in yourself. It is not in your environment; it is not in luck or chance, or the help of others; it is in yourself alone." -Orison Swett Marden
