Every morning we get we're thankful for it no matter what. And it doesn't take looking out the window or a long studious slab of thinking to come to that conclusion either. This morning we're looking at an ultra cold day with a nasty breeze and a big sun shining as if to add hope for a warming. We'll find out later in the day if the joke was on us or not. Either way we win because one cannot live without hope. Even if that hope doesn't materialize it still serves a very useful purpose by carrying one happily along to the next of the thousands of hopes that come to each of us each day.
I think Dory and Ruthie are going to Jeff with the intentions of taking Momma Lena out to lunch with a bit of shopping mingled into the fray. I don't do too well with frays nor shopping either for that matter so I'm going to be home near alone again. This time I may have the American Standard heat pump guy swinging by for a visit and a concrete price for the things, including installation. By his talk on the phone and our research on the computer American Standard is the direction we're leaning. As we understand it they are made by Trane and have many of the same components but are quite a bit less expensive.
My way of joking is to tell the truth, It's the funniest joke in the world. — George Bernard Shaw
