July 9

Another day with rain in the forecast along with lots of heat and humidity. Yesterday we didn't get a lick of rain but it did look very possible a couple times. The painters painted all day and could be finished in one more good day of painting. The clouds make it questionable if today will be the day or not.

Yesterday was a good one for me. I lost three pounds playing in the woods. It was so hot and humid, I got to where I had to set down for a few minutes between dragging those young cut trees up the hill. I know I've been calling them sprouts but after dragging a bunch of the twenty to twenty five feet tall saplings up that hill to the pile I'm now saying they are trees! Some I had to cut into two pieces to be able to drag them out. Coming home sopping wet made it a two shower, two clothes change and nine tick day. I'm ready to have another go at it after bit. Just lovin it!

Now if someone had asked me to clear the area I would probably do it reluctantly as I bitched and moaned about it. If offered pay to do it I'm pretty sure I would have declined the whole job. Heck if I wanted a paying job I'd sure find one a lot easier than doing this. Thankfully, I still don't want a job. I'm only doing what I want to do, and only when I want to. What a neat way to live!

Living on the lake is so wonderful. We've had the Tritoon out only one time this year but will probably take it out a couple more times before the year is out. The old bass boat hasn't even been started yet. The boats probably aren't worth much but along with insurance and the dock we have a pretty good investment just sitting there going to waste. We need to sell out and move. Anyone interested or know someone that might be?

Moving on down here brings us to the end of another nothing session. The part that is purposely incorporated into every message to enable readers something to look forward to.
